The Steelers are certain of one thing even though the NFL will unveil the whole 2024 schedule at 8:00 p.m. tonight.
They’ll spend Christmas at home.
On Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, at 1 p.m., the Steelers will play the Kansas City Chiefs at Acrisure Stadium. Netflix will broadcast the game.
The Steelers hold a 23-14 series edge against the Chiefs, and have split the last six meetings, which includes two postseason contests.
This will be the third time the Steelers have played on Christmas Day, winning both contests.
The Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens, 31-27, in 2016 at home, and beat the Houston Texans, 34-6, in 2017 on the road.
* This will be the first NFL game that Netflix streams live.
According to Hans Schroeder, the NFL’s executive vice president of media distribution, “the NFL on Christmas has become a tradition and to partner with Netflix, a service whose biggest day of the year is typically this holiday, is the perfect combination to grow this event globally for NFL fans,” a statement said.
