The Steelers shared this message on social media following the terrible shooting at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally, offering their condolences to everyone affected by the violent crime.
Pittsburgh posted on their X social media page, “Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, the Kansas City community, and Chiefs Kingdom.”
Stacey Graves, the chief of police in Kansas City, reports that one person has died and that 22 more have been shot. Out of the 22 injuries sustained, eight patients have been admitted to the hospital due to “immediate life-threatening injuries,” while the remaining six have minor injuries.
After the Chiefs won back-to-back Super Bowls, there was a celebration, but it quickly turned terrible. However, it’s critical that people band together and support one another at times like these. Regarding the shooting at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade in Kansas City, the NFL has issued a statement. A single individual lost their life, while several others were hospitalized due to injuries.
As the Chiefs’ celebration came to an end on Wednesday afternoon, two individuals were reportedly brought into jail following the shooting, according to the police. As the team was celebrating winning its second consecutive championship, gunfire broke out at the end of the route close to Kansas City’s Union Station.
The statement said, “We are very saddened by the horrible shooting that happened tonight toward the end of the Chiefs rally in Kansas City. “All those impacted and the victims are in our thoughts. We appreciate the emergency services and law enforcement’s prompt and comprehensive reaction.
Police reported a shooting outside the Union Station parking garage at 2:13 p.m. CT on Wednesday, over three hours after Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs began their Super Bowl parade.
Chief of police for Kansas City, Stacey Graves, stated on Wednesday night that one person had died and that the number of injuries had risen to 22. Graves added that three individuals had been placed under arrest.
Graves declared, “We have confirmed there is one deceased person.” “There are now 22 bullet wounds on our team. And [we] will provide that a little bit more background information. We’re still working on a total number of victims as of right now. The probe is still ongoing. For today’s incident, three people are in custody and are the subject of an inquiry. We’re trying to figure out which of the three is the one who was in the video where the fans helped the cops.
